Herb-Soaked Sirloin Steaks recipe
Ingredients:
½ cup chopped fresh cilantro
½ cup chopped fresh parsley
¼ cup Dijon mustard
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 to 3 tablespoons water, as needed
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
4 boneless top sirloin steaks
Directions:
1. Place cilantro, parsley, mustard, lemon juice, and oil in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth, adding water as needed to thin consistency to a marinade. Season with salt and pepper.
2. In a shallow dish, smother steaks with marinade; cover and refrigerate 60 minutes.
3. Preheat grill to medium. Remove steaks from marinade and cook on grill 4 to 5 minutes each side, until desired level of doneness is reached. Serve warm.
Notes about this recipe:
Handfuls of fresh chopped herbs blend with garlic, lemon, and mustard to make a steak marinade perfect for warm summer days. These refreshing, sunny flavors contrast well against the sweet, charred flavor of the grill, creating a dish worth making all season long.
