Herbed Chuck Steaks recipe
Ingredients:
2 lbs of boneless beef chuck steaks, well trimmed.
1/3 cup of red wine vinegar.
1/3 cup of water.
1 tablespoon of olive oil.
1 tablespoon of minced thyme.
½ teaspoon of sugar.
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste.
Directions:
In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except the steaks.
Add chuck steaks and allow to marinate for 6-8 hours in your refrigerator.
Remove steaks from marinade and reserve the marinade.
Prepare an outdoor grill with an oiled rack set 6 inches from the coals. On a gas grill, place the setting to medium.
Grill for 14 minutes for rare, 20 minutes for medium, or 26 minutes for well done, brushing with reserved marinade.
Carve into thin slices.
